We finished off this epic summer family trip with a tour of the White House! I had requested the tour months in advance and just a couple of weeks before we left, we got confirmation that we had a tour scheduled!!! Yay! This was something new for all of us even though David and I had both been to DC before, we'd never had an opportunity to visit the White House.
We got to see more than we'd anticipated which was fun too - when we came out of the tour, we hit the road to drive home. You can bring almost nothing with you into the tour but a phone was allowed {just can't use it inside} so all of these photos are from my Instagram feed from this day.
Yay for summer family fun and a heaping dose of new memories to treasure!
