4th of July

We had a fun day celebrating America's birthday! The day before in church, I learned some really interesting things, there was a patriotic video playing with quotes and music. One of the things that jumped out at me was the fact that our three branches of government were founded upon this verse:

Isaiah 33:22, "For the Lord is our judge (judicial), the Lord is our lawgiver (legislative), the Lord is our king (executive); it is he who will save us."

And, the reminder of an inscription on the Liberty Bell from part of Leviticus 25:10,

"...proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants."

I love all the red, white, and blue. Aren't those the funnest colors to decorate with?
