Walgreens Deal!!!

I haven't had time to take a picture, but there is a super deal at Walgreens this week!

If you purchase nine Proctor and Gamble products featured in their ad, you earn two $10 Register Reward rebates.

So, purchase any combination of the 2/$5 items (Scope, Crest Pro-Health, Cascade) and it will total $22.50 - less your $20.00 reward = $2.50 for all that! But, it gets better - there were coupons for all three of these and lots of other P&G items in today's paper - I had $2.50 in coupons making my total: ZERO!

I know that Walgreens frequently runs out of advertised items, so go early in the week for the best selection!

I didn't see any P&G coupons yesterday. Am I missing something??? What specifically were they?

Help!
I went to Walgreens today and bought 9 proctor and gamble items at $2.50 each and then used $3 coupon and then when I got my reciept it had only one $10 gift certificate. They called the manager up and voided and started all over and still it only gave me one $10. So she initialed the first $10 certificate and gave me the second and said if I have problems with the first she has her initials on it. This was my first time ever doing the walgreens deal and now I am a little worried that I may have problems in the future. Any advice?

P.S.>> My total was only a little over $21 so if the free certificates work then it was a terrific deal!

Here's what I did in case anyone is looking for ideas. I got 9 boxes of the 2-count Mr. Clean Magic Erasers for $22.50 + tax and received the RR. How cool is that? We don't use store bought cleaners and I have just tons of hba already. So those are something that won't go bad that we'll really use.

Lauren,

I've only had a problem with a Register Reward one time. They did something similar to what they did for you and they DID honor it. I was able to use it as cash. So, it should work out for you. Sorry it was a lot of trouble! I tell my husband that it takes time and work to spend less!

Monica,

Thank you so much for sharing this Walgreens deal! I stopped in and bought 7 tubes of toothpaste and 2 containers of floss. I actually did have trouble at the register as well because none of my register rewards printed out. A manager was called up and she just decided to refund me my $20 right then! I was so surprised she didn't just give me store credit. It was so fun to walk out of the store with all of the for just $2.50. :)
